There are several stars on the WWE main roster currently dealing with injuries, and Dean Ambrose is one of them. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins were running the tag team division on Monday Night Raw, but unfortunately their partnership had to be put on pause when Ambrose underwent surgery in December.

PWInsider is now reporting that Dean Ambrose was spotted in Birmingham, Alabama yesterday, so it’s likely that he’s in town to check out the progress he’s made since undergoing surgery to repair a triceps tear.

When Ambrose originally underwent surgery, WWE claimed that he would be out of action for nine months, but it’s possible that the estimated time of recovery was exaggerated for storyline purposes.

Prior to his injury, it was rumored that Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins would be facing off at WrestleMania 34, with plans calling for Dean to turn heel on The Shield.

Of course we’ll never know if that was the plan or not because Ambrose is out of action now.

Jason Jordan later stepped up and took Dean’s spot and eventually won the Raw Tag Team Titles with Seth Rollins.

It’s also been rumored that a match between Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan was penciled in for WrestleMania this year, but now that match is apparently up in the air following Jordan’s recent surgery.
