Last week’s Impact Wrestling television tapings were full of big booking decisions and attempts to establish this new Impact creative regime as different than their predecessor. There were several shots taken at the old guard during the show from references to past stars that have since left the company, to making tongue in cheek comments regarding Dixie Carter and how she used to run the show.

Apparently one person who didn’t appreciate some of these comments was Eli Drake. According to PWInsider, The Namer of Dummies went up to Jeff Jarrett and confronted him about some of the comments being made about the previous leadership in the company. Word coming out is it that Drake was upset, but it didn’t get too out of hand.

Drake ended up making a point that some of the roster is frustrated with the new creative changeover. He said he felt it was unfair that some of the shots were taken, because they seemed to be directed at everyone who works for the company and not just a few specific members of the former leadership.

On a lighter note, the new creative force coupled with corporate changeover in Impact Wrestling has meant there is a new website. It’s worlds better than the previous one and looks like it will be updated much more often as well.

If you listened to either of the Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard episodes about TNA, you will know one of the things Bruce had the most disdain for was the previous website and webmaster alike. It looks like they’re finally getting those bugs worked out in that department as well.

On that same token, Anthem Sports needs your help in naming their owl mascot. Apparently it’s a girl, and if they pick your choice you get more than a couple talons full of cash. We’ve already checked and all Harry Potter related names are totally on the table.
