Hulk Hogan was released from WWE in the summer of 2015, and following his release he found himself wrapped up in a high profile lawsuit with Gawker. Hogan won the lawsuit, and he also won quite a bit of money in the process. Things are starting to calm down for Hulk Hogan, and it’s been rumored that WWE is interested in bringing him back.
TMZ recently caught up with his daughter, Brooke Hogan, and she told them that Hulk has been receiving some pretty important phone calls. When asked if her father will be returning to WWE, Brooke dropped some info, “I’ll just say, I know that people have been calling him, for WrestleMania.”
WrestleMania 33 is set to take place in Orlando, FL, on April 2, 2017. Hulk Hogan’s last WrestleMania appearance was at WrestleMania 31, where he reunited with his nWo brothers, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, to take on DX during the Sting vs. Triple H match
Scott Hall was recently asked during an interview with Sports Illustrated if he thinks Hulk Hogan will return to the company, and Hall made it clear that he thinks it will happen.
“Yes, Hulk will be back. After a thirty-three year relationship with the WWE, he had a bad day—and that bad day was nearly ten years ago. He said the wrong thing. I’ve been around Hulk a lot and never seen that side of him. I’ve only seen a kind, generous guy. If the door is not open for him, it should be.”
