A few years ago audio of Hulk Hogan making racist comments surfaced online, and as soon as they did WWE let Hogan go. The former WWE Champion has yet to make his return to the company, but he recently crossed paths with some of WWE’s biggest stars at the premiere for the Andre The Giant documentary.
There’s been a lot of speculation that WWE officials are interested in bringing Hogan back, but Mark Henry recently said that if Hogan returns he feels that the Hulkster should personally apologize to the African-American wrestlers in the locker room. TMZ recently asked Hogan about Henry’s comments, and he completely agrees.
“I totally agree with him, not to the black wrestlers, to all the wrestlers. What I said was way out of line and I’m forever sorry for that.”
Hogan went on to say that Henry is his boy, and that he’s friends with all the wrestlers.
He was also asked if any progress had been made in regards to a possible return, but Hogan just joked about challenging Triple H.
“We established what everybody already knew, I challenged Triple H and he’s afraid of me.”
As noted, WWE recently released a statement saying that there aren’t any plans for Hogan to appear at any upcoming WWE events.
