Rumors of Hulk Hogan’s WWE return have been making the rounds for a few years now, and earlier today WWE announced that Hogan has been reinstated to the WWE Hall of Fame.
PWInsider is now reporting that Hogan is backstage at Extreme Rules in Pittsburgh, PA, and he met with talents backstage to apologize for the racial slurs which got him fired from WWE back in 2015.
Sources who were also backstage during the meeting noted that Hogan spent a long time apologizing for what he said and embarrassing the company.
He told talents to always think about what they say before they speak, because in this day in age anything can be recorded at any time.
Hogan reportedly got a big reaction when he was done speaking, and he got emotional as a number of WWE Superstars hugged him and shook his hand.
The Hulkster may be at this week’s TV tapings, but that hasn’t been confirmed.
The feeling backstage is that Hogan is back with the company, but as of today he has not signed a new contract.
Just met with the @WWE Superstars and on all levels the volume of love and support was overwhelming. I’ve been praying for this day and I finally feel like I made it back home. Only Love 4 the #WWEUNIVERSE brother HH
