Seth Rollins re-injured his knee when he was attacked by Samoa Joe last week on Raw and a few days later WWE went public with the injury. Seth Rollins has spent months building his feud with Triple H and it was expected that the two would face off at WrestleMania 33 in April. However, Seth’s injury has left many to wonder if he will be able to perform at the biggest show of the year, and this week on Raw Michael Cole told fans that Seth’s status for WrestleMania is still in doubt.

While the the update WWE provided on Raw this week was very vague, it looks like WWE officials are hopeful that Seth Rollins will be able to face off against his former mentor in Orlando.

Dave Meltzer noted on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that the internal belief backstage is that Seth Rollins will indeed be ready for WrestleMania 33. It was noted that WWE officials are going with the idea that Triple H vs. Seth Rollins is still on.

Seth’s feud with Triple H has been building for a long time and it has certainly been scary to think that we might not get a pay off.

Rollins has been trying to find way to get Revenge on Triple H for months now after Triple H cost him the Universal Title back in August of 2016. Seth Rollins has called out Triple H a few times and last week the two stars finally came face to face, but Samoa Joe made sure that Rollins wasn’t able to get his hands on The Game.

Although the jury still seems to be out on WrestleMania 33, Seth Rollins vs. Triple H is arguably one of the most anticipated matches on the card and it’s encouraging to hear that at this point WWE officials still believe that it’s going to happen.
