The Smackdown brand brought their show to Saskatoon during their Canadian mini-tour and the fans in attendance were in store for a great show to behold. Before the event even started James Ellsworth had some comments about travelling to the city that is also known as “Paris of the Prairies.” If you’re not down with Ellsworth, you might not be alone but he’s certainly one fascinating character.

Aiden English took on Mojo Rawley and although neither man was too over with the crowd, they certainly gave it their all. Mojo ended up pulling off the win in this one.

Although he might be going full heel on television, Dolph Ziggler was more than over with the crowd in Saskatoon. Many in attendance were thrilled that Ziggler made the trip.

American Alpha put their tag titles on the line against Breezango in front of a very excited crowd that was pumped to see Jordan and Gable do their thing. Alpha retained their titles, but it’s hard to argue that Breezango weren’t all over them until the very end.

In another interesting note, Breezango really writes messages on all of those “fashion tickets” that they give out during their entrance. Now, that’s commitment to a gimmick.

There was also a match between Kalisto and Baron Corbin in Saskatoon. We’re not even going to tell you who won that match because the tweet below more than speaks for itself.

Heath Slater was in the building and spotted his kids in the crowd. Who knew the One Man Band got up to Saskatoon so often?

The former Smackdown Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss was in the house to battle the Canadian-native Natalya. Canada is one of those markets where Nattie is going to be over no matter what she’s doing on television. Fans in attendance reported that Carmella broke up this match, but the save was made by Tamina. Jimmy Snuka’s daughter returned to action last night, and it’s good to see her mixing it up already.

The main event of the night saw Dean Ambrose put his Intercontinental Title on the line in a triple threat match against The Miz and AJ Styles. Dean Ambrose went over in the end to send the crowd home very happy and nobody was disappointed except for those in attendance who wanted to see a Styles Clash before they went home.

There were quite a few more tweets that we just couldn’t figure out what to do with, so they will be provided in the space below for you to enjoy at your leisure.
