If you’re one of those people who woke up this morning and said to yourself, “Damn, I really wish WWE Studios would release another ‘Marine’ film” then you’re in luck. Wait, it was just me that did that? Alright then. In any case, “The Marine 5” is coming and this time around the cast is loaded with 6 WWE Superstars.
According to Deadline, The Miz will be reprising his role as Jake Carter and he’ll be joined by his wife Maryse, Heath Slater, Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel and Naomi. Filming is set to kick off in Vancouver on May 31st and the official title for the film is “The Marine 5: Battleground.” Ed McHenry and Rory McHenry penned the script.
The Social Outcasts are finally getting their chance to shine in a WWE Studios film and I have little doubt that it’s going to be as The Miz says “Awwwweeeeesommmeeee.” In other words, The Miz better watch his back, because there’s a good chance this movie is going to make Heath Slater a huge star BAYBAY!!!
Watch out Hollywood, here he comes.
