MJF cut a heated promo last week on Dynamite that ended with him calling AEW President Tony Khan a “f**king mark.” Since then everyone’s been trying to figure out what exactly is going on with Tony Khan and MJF.

WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts recently discussed the segment on the DDP Snake Pit podcast and his reaction to MJF’s promo did not seem favorable.

“For me, it made me sick. It really did. I would love to see what the locker room is like,” he continued. “The bomb that he dropped is going to have repercussions with people.”

MJF no showed a signing the night before the Double or Nothing pay-per-view, and it was reported that other talents had to stay longer to make up for his absence. Roberts also criticized MJF for no showing the signing and letting the fans down.

“I couldn’t believe he no-showed a signing, man. It’s a big thing with Tony, he loves these signings, and he wants these guys there. And for me, you don’t miss stuff like that. This is your fans, your fanbase. These people paid to get in there and you no-showed?”
