WWE has been pushing Roman Reigns as the face of the company for years now and it seems to be paying off. Roman Reigns has taken his career to new heights since adopting The Tribal Chief persona, but he has also taken a step back as he’s now working more of a part-time schedule with WWE nowadays.

During a recent appearance on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long talked about wrestlers who could potentially step up and lead the company when Roman Reigns steps away, and he picked LA Knight to become one of the top stars in the company.

“LA Knight. Not so much that I love LA Knight, I just watch this guy. He has a lot of talent. They may not be giving him his just due. But I think he’s gonna be a big star, man.”

LA Knight has quickly become one of WWE’s most popular Superstars in recent months. He seemed to be the heavy favorite among fans to win the Money in the Bank contract, but ultimately that opportunity went to Damian Priest. Knight did appear on Friday Night SmackDown this week and he made it clear that he wants a shot at the US Title, so we’ll have to wait and see if he gets to compete for championship gold in the near future.

Do you think LA Knight has what it takes to become the face of WWE? Sound off in the comments below.
