Sunday night was a big night for Gail Kim. She became the first Knockout to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame, and she became the new Knockouts Champions
Christy Hemme, Taryn Terrell, Awesome Kong and Dixie Carter all made their way to the ring to congratulate her. Each of them gave a quick speech about what makes Gail special, and then a video package aired showing highlights from her career. Gail then gave a great speech in the middle of the ring.
Gail later made her way back to the ring to challenge Maria Kanellis-Bennett for the TNA Knockouts Championship. Before Maria got in the ring she announced that the doctor told her that her hand isn’t healed and she’s still not cleared to compete. Allie got on the mic and said that’s not true, the doctor said she is cleared.
As soon as the match kicked off Gail Kim and Maria fought hard, but it was Gail Kim who got the victory and walked out with the gold. Then end came when Kim slapped Maria then flipped the bird in her face Stone Cold style then she hit Maria with Eat Defeat for the win.
Gail Kim is now a 6 time TNA Knockouts Champion.
