Earlier this week WWE released another round of talents when it was announced that Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Buddy Murphy, Santana Garrett and Ruby Riott were all let go.
It was recently reported that a text message was sent to all WWE talents informing them of the releases, and that Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis was the one who sent the text.
According to PWInsider the text message read as follows:
“Due to Budget cuts the following talent were released today. Braun Strowman, Lana, Buddy Murphy, Santana Garrett, Ruby Riott, and Aleister Black. – John Laurinaitis”
The wrestling world was shocked by the releases, but it’s being said that Braun Strowman’s release wasn’t that surprising to some people in WWE, and you can get more on that here.
