Royal Rumble

We’re less than one week away from the annual Royal Rumble premium live event and anticipation for the show seems to be at an all time high. You never know who might show up at the event as there are a number of free agents on the market right now.

A few weeks ago Shawn Spears confirmed that he would be parting ways with All Elite Wrestling. Now he seems to be teasing a potential appearance in the 30 man Royal Rumble match.

Shawn Spears responded to a tweet which commented on the new Royal Rumble emoji and he seemingly teased a potential entry in the number 10 spot when he posted the following:

Shawn Spears first signed with WWE in 2006 and he was later released from WWE in 2009. He signed a new contract with the company in 2013 and went on to debut with NXT under the name Tye Dillinger. Eventually he was called up to the main roster in 2017 and then released again in 2019.

Following his WWE departure Shawn Spears signed with AEW in 2019, but now his run with the company is over.
