We’re on the road to WrestleMania and Liv Morgan is currently set to challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Liv and Stephanie have been involved in a heated feud for months now, and last week on Raw, Stephanie attacked Liv Morgan when she shoved her into Roxanne Perez backstage.
Unfortunately for Liv and Roxanne their heads collided, and they both ended up with a big egg on their respective foreheads. Luckily the swelling has subsided, but Morgan still has bruises on her face.
Over the weekend photos of Liv Morgan from Coachella were making the rounds on social media, and fans couldn’t help but notice the dark circles underneath her eyes.
CJ Perry recently talked to Ariel Helwani about Liv Morgan’s status ahead of WrestleMania, and she shut down some of the claims people were making about Liv based on what they saw from her experience at Coachella.
“She’s recovering everyday. I remember when I saw her Thursday night when we got to Coachella, I was like, ‘Oh my god!’ I saw it in pictures, but in person the bruises under her eyes just seemed a lot more intense. It was funny because I saw on the internet, after she lost her cookies on Monday with Stephanie, I saw a lot of people being like, ‘Oh my god, look at those dark circles from her Coachella weekend because she partied too hard.”
“We don’t drink. None of us drink. We were going to the gym every single day. And that’s actually those dark circles is from her being a professional wrestling, and fighting, and getting basically Stephanie hitting her really, really hard, and that’s professional wrestling. It’s a contact sport.”
It’s been confirmed that Liv Morgan will be challenging Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship during night 1 of WrestleMania 42. Stay tuned for updates.
