WrestleMania 39 has come and gone and now all eyes are looking ahead to WrestleMania 40. WWE’s Show of Shows is set to take place from Philadelphia next year and you never know who might be part of the card.

For some time now former WWE star Matt Cardona has been teasing a potential WWE return on social media and he recently revealed that his current dream match is a match with John Cena at WrestleMania 40.

Whether or not this match will happen remains to be seen as Cardona is not currently part of the WWE roster even though his return has been rumored for months. There’s also no way of knowing if John Cena will return to the ring at WrestleMania 40 as Cena matches have become a rarity these days, but Cena and Cardona do have an interesting history on WWE programming.

Even though WrestleMania 40 is almost a full year away it seems that WWE officials are considering at least one match for the main event and you can get more on that here.
