It’s no big secret that there are a number of professional wrestling stars who enjoy smoking marijuana. At one point in time WWE talents could be fined, or even suspended, for smoking marijuana, but it seems that the company has changed their stance on the issue.

Teddy Long has been open about his marijuana use which he recently talked about during an appearance on the Wrestling Inc. Daily. Long famously had a run as the General Manager of the SmackDown brand, and he revealed that during his time as GM he decided to stop smoking because he didn’t want to let Vince McMahon down.

“I said, ‘Hey man, my job is more important so I don’t want to let Vince [McMahon] down’,” he revealed. “That man gave me the opportunity of a lifetime and the reason I am where I am today is because of Vince. So, I quit, maybe about a year. I quit for a real long time. What made me start back, man, I think I just got kind of burnt out. I had been on the road for over 25 years of my life… I think I just kind of got stressed, then me and Chioda kind of started riding again.”

Teddy Long officially finished up with WWE back in 2014, but he has made special appearances on WWE programming since then, and in 2017 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
