It looks like one former WWE star is preparing to make a big change when it comes to his look as Lince Dorado recently took to Twitter to announce that 2023 will be the last year that he will wrestle while wearing a mask. According to Dorado he’s been thinking about dropping the mask for 5 years now. At this point he’s still deciding if he wants to lose the mask or simply take it off.

“I’ve contemplated this for a while now, possibly 5 years now. For almost 2 decades I have been someone I’m not. I have decided! This will be my last year masked. Question is will I lose it or say f**k it, this is the real me? #luchalit”

While responding to a fan comment about possible losing the mask in a match Lince Dorado indicated that if such a match were to take place it could be against Metalik.

Lince Dorado started working with WWE in 2016 when he competed in the Cruiserweight Classic and he then went on to be featured as part of the cruiserweight division when it relaunched. WWE released him in November of 2021 and he has since gone on to work with MLW and NJPW. Stay tuned for updates.
