WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that there was an idea pitched within WWE creative to have Santino Marella appear at the Clash in Italy premium live event. Currently Marella is working with TNA Wrestling. At this point in time there’s no word on whether or not the pitch went anywhere.
Santino Marella recently commented on a fan made poster for Clash in Italy which featured him, and posted a comment that said, “would be a full circle moment for sure.”

Marella made his WWE debut during the April 16, 2007 episode of Raw in Milan, Italy when he was picked out of the audience, and he went on to defeat Umaga to become the Intercontinental Champion in his first match on Monday Night Raw.
WWE Clash in Italy will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026 and the current card can be seen below.
