This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite took place from the Prudential Center in New Jersey and it featured the in-ring debut of Mariah May who took on Queen Aminata. In the end it was Mariah May who picked up the win and after the match she was interviewed by Renee Paquette.
Mariah May talked about her big in-ring debut for AEW, but said that she regrets that it had to happen in New Jersey. The fans booed as Mariah May was interrupted by Deonna Purrazzo.
Renee told Deonna that it’s incredible to see her in AEW and the fans chanted “Deonna! Deonna! Deonna!” She reminded everyone that she’s from New Jersey to a big reaction from the NJ fans in attendance.
Deonna told Mariah May she has a message for AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm and the message is that no matter where she hides she will find her. Mariah May said she’s not the messenger then told Deonna to tell Toni Storm herself. May then slapped Deonna, but Deonna slapped back then kicked Mariah May who rolled out of the ring to end the segment.
