For months now a mysterious devil figure has been taunting MJF, and on Saturday night at the Worlds End pay-per-view it was finally revealed that Adam Cole was the man underneath the devil mask.

This week AEW Dynamite kicked off with Adam Cole’s music playing, but it quickly shifted to a different theme with the word “UNDISPUTED” on the screen as Cole walked down the ramp on crutches with Roderick Strong, Wardlow, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett. Before Adam Cole got in the ring he held up the devil mask.

Cole sat down in a steel chair in the middle of the ring then cut a promo talking about why he turned on MJF. He said that MJF is a narcissist and he’s had his claws hooked in AEW for far too long. Adam Cole said someday most of the locker room, most of the fans, and Tony Khan will thank him. Cole claimed MJF is gone and never coming back.

While talking about why he turned on MJF, Adam Cole said MJF would have turned on him as soon as he didn’t need him anymore. He added that he never needed MJF, it was MJF who needed him. Adam Cole told the fans that the only reason they latched onto MJF is because he made him likable with the Better Than You BAY-BAY tag team. According to Cole it was about the AEW World Championship at first, but then it became about destroying MJF at his core.

Adam Cole claimed that MJF is dead. However, the Undisputed Kingdom is very much alive. He introduced the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Mike Bennett and Matt Taven. Cole said Roderick Strong is his best friend and Strong will be going after the AEW International Championship. Then he addressed Wardlow and Cole said that Wardlow will be going after the AEW World Championship. Cole then claimed Wardlow will forfeit the title and give it to him when the time is right.

After the promo Jay White came out with The Gunns and made his way toward the ring. Wardlow got Adam Cole to safety then the rest of the Undisputed Kingdom started beating down the Undisputed Kingdom. The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn then came out to make the save.

Bullet Club Gold then had a stare down with The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn, but Bullet Club Gold retreated to end the segment.
