It appears that a former WWE signee is dealing with some serious charges as WOTW is reporting that former WWE NIL signee AJ Ferrari has been arrested by Douglas County Authorities. According to the report AJ Ferrari was arrested in a Douglas County residence after the DCSO’s Special Operations Group (SOG) had been working tips.
Ferrari had an outstanding warrant in Lancaster County for the following charges:
– Assault by Strangulation/Suffocation of a Pregnant Woman, 3rd Degree
– Domestic Violence Assault 3rd Degree
– False Imprisonment 1st Degree
Investigators were reportedly watching a home that Ferrari was allegedly staying at, and around 10:45 am on Tuesday morning saw a woman getting in a truck to leave the residence. The woman was allegedly followed by a man who crawled out of the garage and got into the rear seat of the truck. The man was identified as AJ Ferrari.
SOG investigators followed the truck in unmarked vehicles and notified the DCSO’s Uniformed Services Bureau of the truck’s location. The truck was stopped at 204th Street and Grand Avenue by USB and Ferrari was taken into custody. He was then booked into Douglas County Corrections on the aforementioned warrant. According to court records the woman has filed a protection order against Ferrari and a hearing was set for July 7th.
It’s also being reported that Ferrari was also arrested in late June on suspicion of flight to avoid arrest, willful reckless driving and obstructing the police.
Back in January, Ferrari was also booked on an outstanding warrant in Lancaster County, Nebraska, but those charges were reportedly dismissed later in the week.
