Former WWE Divas Champion Brie Bella announced her retirement from WWE at WrestleMania 32 back in April, merely a month after her husband Daniel Bryan was forced to retire from in-ring competition due to his recurring neck and shoulder problems.

It was thought that the couple was set to then make a start on the family that Brie had spent the better part of the last five seasons of Total Divas talking about, but almost six months after her retirement was confirmed, the couple have still not made the announcement.

Daniel Bryan was asked to rejoin WWE a few months ago in a less physical role as the SmackDown General Manager, which means that his wife is technically free to rejoin WWE and her husband and sister on the road.

Brie still wants to go forward with her plans to have a child, despite the fact that her husband’s travelling schedule has become quite hectic once again, but she did say that she would definitely return to the ring after her child is born.

“I think when I have my first child…whenever that is, I would love to make a comeback to that ring,” Brie revealed to E! News. “I think it would be awesome to actually be the real momma Bella.”

Brie wouldn’t be the first mother to compete in WWE since Stephanie McMahon has three daughters as well as playing a huge role in Raw tapings every week as Raw Commissioner, whilst Tamina Snuka also has a son and a daughter and still manages to compete in WWE.

These comments come on the eve of Total Bella’s debut on E! this weekend as The Bella family look set to reveal all to the TV cameras and WWE Universe.

Not only will The Bella Twins be a part of their show, but their partners Daniel Bryan and John Cena will also play their parts as well as Nikki and Brie’s brother and sister and their mother Kathy and stepfather John Laurinaitis.

Brie was a part of Hollywood Medium recently and host Tyler Henry revealed that either Nikki or Brie would be having a baby in the next two years. Whilst it is highly unlikely that John and Nikki will be open to having kids that soon when marriage is still an awkward conversation, it seems Brie could soon be having her dream family.

Nikki Bella made her return to WWE at SummerSlam after successful neck surgery earlier this year and has since seemingly picked up where she left off on the SmackDown roster. She is currently a part of an on-going storyline with Carmella that could lead to a NO-DQ match between the pair at No Mercy this weekend.

John Cena, on the other hand, is set to take an extended break from WWE after this weekend’s pay-per-view to head off to film the second season of American Grit and is thought to not be returning to WWE until Royal Rumble season.

Brie Bella is only semi-retired from WWE and still works for the company as an ambassador as well as continuing to set up the company that she created with her sister Nikki and unveiled in the previous season of Total Divas.

There have been many rumours that Brie could actually return to WWE much sooner than the next two years after both her husband and sister both returned recently. When Brie first retired from WWE almost six months ago it looked unlikely that her sister would ever be able to wrestle again and her husband had already announced his in-ring retirement.

Things have changed dramatically in the last six months and now they are both back on the same roster, and so is John Cena. Whilst it is highly unlikely that Brie will return to the company now and risk becoming pregnant when she is contracted to appear, it isn’t completely out of the question.

She could easily appear as a way to promote the new season of Total Bellas in the coming weeks, but it seems her husband and her sister are doing a good enough job of that and Brie is enjoying not having such a hectic travelling schedule and looking forward to hopefully announcing some happy news to the WWE Universe in the coming months.
