New names are constantly being signed to AEW, and now it looks like an experienced announcer has joined the team.
Taz has made a few appearances on AEW programming so far, and today AEW announced that he has officially joined the company.

The current announce team for AEW Dynamite currently consists of Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone and Excalibur, so it’s not exactly clear at this point in time where Taz will fit in.
However, it’s worth noting that it was recently confirmed AEW Dark will be moving to TNT at some point, so it certainly makes sense for AEW to expand their roster of announcers.
AEW posted a video of Taz signing his contract, and confirmed via Twitter that Taz has signed a multi-year deal with the company.
