WrestleMania season has come and gone and some big title changes have taken place in recent weeks. Liv Morgan defeated Stephanie Vaquer to become the new Women’s World Champion on the Grandest Stage of Them All, but Vaquer has not stepped into the ring since then.
On the 4/27 episode of Monday Night Raw, Stephanie Vaquer was written off TV after she was attacked by The Judgment Day during a backstage segment, and Michael Cole later announced that Vaquer suffered a second degree AC sprain.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Stephanie Vaquer is expected to return soon. According to the report Vaquer was originally set for a longer program with current WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.
Stephanie Vaquer has been one of the top names in the women’s division on Raw ever since she was called up to the red brand last year. It will be interesting to see if her feud with Liv Morgan picks back up once she returns, as WWE has yet to firmly establish a new challenger for Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship in recent weeks.
Stay tuned for updates.
