We’re currently on the road to SummerSlam and the card for WWE’s biggest party of the summer has been coming together recently. Over the last few weeks SmackDown General Manager has been involved in a heated feud with Gunther, and Aldis cost The Ring General his match at Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend when he hit Gunther with the Undisputed WWE Championship.
On Sunday, Gunther and Nick Aldis appeared on the SummerSlam kickoff show and the two stars had to be pulled apart after they started brawling. Triple H told them that in WWE they settle their differences inside the ring as The Game announced that Gunther will go one on one with Nick Aldis at SummerSlam.

This week be the first time Nick Aldis has wrestled inside a WWE ring since he first signed with the company back in 2023. The former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion hasn’t wrestled since October of 2023, so this will certainly be a big moment for Aldis.
WWE SummerSlam will air live from US Bank Stadium on Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd. The current card can be seen below.
