Celebrities wrestling for WWE has become more and more common in recent years, and at WrestleMania 37, Bad Bunny made his in-ring debut when he teamed up with Damian Priest to defeat The Miz & John Morrison.

Bad Bunny and Damian Priest proved to be a formidable team, but Booker T recently explained on his Hall of Fame podcast that he was originally supposed to team up with Bad Bunny on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

“I had no desire or anything to wrestle against Bad Bunny. I almost did a tag match with Bad Bunny. Yeah, actually, it was actually supposed to be me and Bad Bunny opposed to Damian Priest and Bad Bunny.”

Regarding why he didn’t end up working the match, Booker T said, “Well, certain reasons why it didn’t happen. I’m not going to disclose.” When asked if he considered the idea, the Hall of Famer replied, “Not strongly enough.”

So far Bad Bunny has competed in three different matches for WWE. He last stepped into the ring when he defeated Damian Priest in a San Juan Street Fight at the Backlash PLE in May of 2023. It’s not clear at this point in time if he could return to the ring at some point in the future.
