Impact Wrestling will once again be taping TV tonight at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida, and it’s been a busy week for the roster and the crew.
Over the last few days there have been some big returns, some departures, and some title changes, and it looks like fans will be seeing two more big returns at tonight’s tapings.
PWInsider is reporting that former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Scott Steiner is backtage, and he’s set to make his Impact Wrestling return during the tapings.
It’s also being reported that former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Tommy Dreamer is backstage, and he’s scheduled to wrestle during the tapings.
Scott Steiner returned to Impact last year and aligned himself with Josh Mathews. Steiner ended up teaming with Josh Mathews for a tag team match at the Slammiversary pay-per-view which saw Mathews and Steiner lose to Jeremy Borash and Joseph Park.
After the pay-per-view Steiner parted ways with the company once again.
No word yet on what the company has planned for the former WCW star, but it was recently announced that Impact Wrestling will be holding the Redemption pay-per-view in April, so perhaps Steiner will be added to the card in some capacity.
