In the world of professional wrestling injuries can unfortunately happen at any time. During the WWE live event in Madison, WI on Sunday night Kevin Owens faced off against Austin Theory and F4Wonline.com is reporting that Owens suffered a knee injury during the match.
According to the report Kevin Owens is dealing with a MCL sprain. The hope is that’s the only thing KO is dealing with, but it was noted that it could be more than that.
Kevin Owens and Austin Theory faced off in the second to last match of the night and Owens appeared to blow out his right knee after planting it during the match. Owens picke dup the win but he had to be helped to the back by a referee.
Recently Kevin Owens hasn’t been on TV because he wasn’t going to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel, but the former Universal Champion has been working live events. Stay tuned for updates.
