The Impact Wrestling roster keeps getting smaller each and every week, and several names have parted ways with the company as of late. Former X-Division Champion Rockstar Spud is now a free agent, and it’s been rumored that he could be WWE bound.
PWInsider is now reporting that Rockstar Spud will be signing a WWE contract, and the current plan is for him to join the 205 Live roster.
It was recently reported that Rockstar Spud’s departure from Impact Wrestling was due to a paperwork era made while the previous regime was in charge that caused problems with his visa. No word on an exact debut date, but the word is that the former X-Division Champion will be joining WWE once the proper visa paperwork has been completed.
Dixie Carter recently shared a photo of herself with Rockstar Spud and some current, and former Impact stars. The photo was apparently from a farewell dinner for Spud who is said to be heading back to Great Britain while the situation with his visa is worked out.
So great to see this crew tonight. #MadRespect @RockstarSpud @JamesStormBrand @JeremyBorash @brydertna @JohnGaburick #Conway pic.twitter.com/Wm6ygxfmWl
