Sometimes when a WWE Superstar really needs to solidify themselves with their fanbase they take a little break. Other times they get injured and there is no way around it. But for Becky Lynch, she recently took a little hiatus for a much more pleasant reason because she needed to film a movie.

The Lass Kicker was written off of television after the Riott Squad jumped her upon their debut but Becky Lynch wasn’t injured for real. Her acting talents were needed to assist in the filming of The Marine 6 starring The Miz and WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels. We can think of worse things she could have been doing.

But it looks like Becky Lynch is all rested up and her presence is no longer necessary on the movie set because she made her return at WWE’s live show in Detroit on Wednesday night. In the match, she tagged with Naomi to defeat Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan of The Riott Squad. Seeing how she’s working with the Riott Squad would lead some to believe when Lynch comes back she’ll be looking to get a receipt for bashing her head with a door.

It should also be noted Becky Lynch was reportedly backstage at SmackDown Live this week on the day after Christmas but she wasn’t used. So the fans in Detroit Rock City got a special treat as the Steam Punk Princess made her return to a very excited and surprised crowd.

It’s great to see Becky Lynch back in action and hopefully, WWE will find a place for her on television very soon especially with the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble coming up fast. WWE has a month to build an exciting story leading to that historic match and The Lass Kicker might be a key ingredient to making that match a winning recipe.
