The exciting thing about professional wrestling is that you never know when a name from the past might return, and it looks like a former WWE star will be looking to step into the ring for the first time in nine years.
Ezekiel Jackson hasn’t wrestled since 2015, but he recently posted a blog confirming that he will be looking to make a comeback this year. The former ECW World Champion posted a vlog in which he stated that he’s looking to get back into ring shape as he wants to end his career on his own terms. Jackson also announced that he will be at the upcoming FWE event in North Carolina on March 15th.
“I continued asking myself if I ended my career the way I wanted to, and for the most part I didn’t. So, I’ve always had that little chip on my shoulder as to I want to end this the way I want to. I’ve also had a bucket list of people I’d love to compete against, so we’re looking into scheduling a few things. I am accepting bookings and this should be fun.“
“I’m still big so I’m not worried about that. I do have to get into ring shape. I’m adding more cardio-based workouts, adding some rowing, and I’ll be getting in the ring a few times this week for the next few weeks. Should be a fun journey, I’m excited to see how this all plays out.”
