With all the attention that has been paid to Seth Rollins’ injury this week, there was another injury which was slightly overshadowed. Reports are that Rich Swann injured his foot while doing the segment in the ring with Neville on Raw prior to Rollins’ injury inducing surprise attack from Samoa Joe.

Swann was pulled from a tag-team match on 205 Live this week but was shown backstage wearing a walking boot with a crutch under his arm. This isn’t good timing for Swann due to the fact that he is scheduled to challenge Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship during next week’s 205 Live.

WWE is scheduled to return to Madison Square Garden on March 13th. We previously reported that Lesnar is set to face Kevin Owens for the first time in their careers at this event.

One interesting match-up to note is John Cena facing Bray Wyatt for the WWE World Championship. The WWE Championship very well may be the stakes in this match-up, but considering the fact that Bray is reportedly scheduled to win the title at Elimination Chamber the challenger and champion titles might be switched when this show happens. It is also noteworthy that Wyatt is in such a high profile match with Cena in the first place at Madison Square Garden even if he’s not rumored to be the champion at the time.

Pay attention to the 8-woman tag match and you’ll see a sign that fans very well might be seeing a certain former associate of The Usos and AJ Lee again very soon. Also, ask yourself why she is on the Smackdown brand and on the face team now.

Other matches for the March 12th WWE Smackdown house show are:

  • Randy Orton vs. Luke Harper
  • IC Title Match: Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler vs Baron Corbin
  • Dolph Ziggler vs. Apollo Crews
  • Tag Title Match: American Alpha vs. The Usos
  • Alexa Bliss, Mickey James, Natayla and Carmella vs. Nikki Bella, Tamina, Naomi, and Becky Lynch
  • Rhyno, Health Slater, and Kalisto vs. Curt Hawkins and Breezango

  1. Where’s Dean Ambrose? Isn’t he the Intercontinental Champion? Why isn’t he in the triple threat?
