Over the last few years a number of former stars have returned to WWE such as CM Punk, AJ Lee and The Bella Twins to name a few. Fans have been wondering if Paige could eventually make her way back to the company, and it looks like she’s finally set to return.
PWInsider is reporting that Paige has signed a deal with WWE and she will be returning to the company as a wrestler. The former WWE Divas Champion has not appeared on WWE programming in several years as she parted ways with the company in 2022.
According to the report the belief is that Paige will be replacing Nikki Bella and teaming up with Brie Bella in the four way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 42 this weekend. Bodyslam is also reporting that the deal Paige signed is a multi-year contract.
At the time of her departure from WWE in 2022, Paige was technically retired from in-ring competition. However, she ended up returning to the ring later that year after signing with All Elite Wrestling, and she went on to become the AEW Women’s Champion in 2023.
Paige finished up with All Elite Wrestling in March of 2025 and has been a free agent since then. With Paige once again cleared for in-ring competition it will be interesting to see how she’s used now that she’s back with WWE.
As of this writing neither Paige nor WWE have commented on signing reports. Stay tuned for updates.
