Last week on NXT Shinsuke Nakamura challenged Finn Balor to a match, which he accepted, but a date was not set for the contest. Triple H posted a tweet while the confrontation was being taped that said, “No sleep til #Brooklyn… #WeAreNXT” which seemed to indicate that the match would be taking place at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn. But luckily fans aren’t going to have to wait that long to see Shinsuke Nakamura take on Finn Balor.
WWE has now announced that Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura will be facing off on the July 13th episode of NXT. The episode is set to be taped tomorrow night at Full Sail University and it will air on the WWE Network in three weeks.
Many people expected Finn Balor to get called up to the main roster months ago after he dropped the title to Samoa Joe, but he’s stuck around and now he will be facing off against Nakamura in what will surely be an epic match.

It’s been rumored that Finn Balor’s main roster debut is “imminent” and it’s also been rumored that NXT is going to get “raided” when the WWE brand split returns. If Finn Balor really does get called up, which brand would you like to see him drafted to, Raw or SmackDown?
