ABC13 in Houston recently spoke to Finn Balor and Bayley who were promoting the NXT live events in Texas. During the interview the two talked about what their trying to accomplish in NXT and Finn Balor mentioned that he thinks the brand is making wrestling cool again.
“A lot of people used to dub NXT as a developmental territory for WWE but really NXT, in the last year especially, has shown tremendous growth. It’s kind of making wrestling cool again. As you can see here, it’s like rock and roll wrestling. This is fun, it’s entertaining. NXT is just cool, it’s just cool man.”
