It’s been a crazy week for the WWE Universe. There’s been drinking, leaking, and finally wrestling. Friday was St. Patrick’s Day and it was a day no one will soon forget. The Raw brand brought their show to Syracuse, New York and this crowd got a pay-per-view quality main event to say the least. But, before the show started, Finn Balor found the time to reflect on a park bench and think about his native Ireland on a quiet St. Patrick’s Day before the night’s show.
The main event in Syracuse was a tag match pitting Sami Zayn and Finn Balor against the team of Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens. This was a great matchup with plenty of well-choreographed spots, to say the least. All four of these men work so well together and know each other’s moves in a way that presents such a fluid match. It’s really unbelievable and only goes to note the professional respect these guys have with each other.
The pairing of Finn Balor and Sami Zayn is a rather ironic one actually. There are rumors going around that say when The Demon re-debuts on television, The Underdog will be going back underground.
There were actually a couple of awesome fans who were able to capture the finish of the fantastic main event in Syracuse and we thank them for it. It will be so great to see Finn’s Slingblade back on television and we know it’s only a matter of time before it happens by the way he’s performing at this point.
The fans obviously haven’t forgotten about how special Balor is either. So, Happy St. Patrick’s Day everybody. Be safe out there and make good choices.
