Rusev is one of the most popular stars on SmackDown Live right now, and fans can’t stop chanting “Rusev Day” despite the fact that Rusev hasn’t appeared on SmackDown in weeks.
“Rusev Day” has quickly become a phenomenon in the world of professional wrestling, and its popularity has transcended the confines of WWE.
This weekend during the Ring of Honor Manhattan Mayhem live event, fans started to chant “Rusev Day” at the top of their lungs, and luckily someone captured it on video.
You can check out a clip below.

The chants didn’t go unnoticed by Rusev himself who noted that they were “interesting.”

Rusev’s popularity truly is at an all time high right now. It’s a shame that WWE officials don’t seem to be interested in making the most of his momentum riding into WrestleMania season.
One way or another, Rusev’s absence from television only seems to be making him even more popular, so hopefully we’ll be seeing him back on TV soon, and hopefully he’ll be making an appearance on the Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania 34 this year.
