As noted, WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee and husband CM Punk were at the Chicago Blackhawks hockey game on Wednesday night. A fan on WrestlingForum.com posted the following on his encounter with Punk with a photo:

“Now I dont know if I put this is the wrong section or not but anyways. I was at the hawks game and im standing getting food and i look to my left and literally 2 feet next to me aj and punk are standing. Now I am obsessed with both punk and aj so i had a little heart attack. But what I kind of didnt like is the only think I said to them was Hey Phil can I get a picture please and he smirked and totally ignored me looking around like he was spacing the hell out. I didnt say anything else so he didnt think I was a crazy fan but dude has punk always been like this in public? It seems like hes got a stick up his ass and doesnt even want to acknowledge his fans that spent lots of money to get him super famous and rich. But at the same time I understand because I am sure he is totally sick and tired of always having people wanting photos with him and talk to him and asking him about coming back to WWE. I wasnt going to ask him that but still he shouldve at least said hi or sorry not.”

  1. I had a similar encounter with Punk at Comic Con. He was all by himself, no one really around and I asked for a pic and he just gave this “really?” look on his face for my pic with him. Even told him I’m a huge Blackhawks fan (which I am) but he wasn’t interested. Thought it was kinda lame, but I also understood he probably didn’t want to be bothered – too bad.

  2. Leave the man alone. You want to meet CM Punk, then wait until a meet and greet. Otherwise when celebrities are out in public just trying to watch the game, don’t harass them. Just because there well known and we paid money to see them wrestle, doesn’t mean they’re public domain. In fact, we pile millions of dollars into all kinds of things. I mean, you don’t see people bum rushing the ceo of walmart who is filthy rich because of us? We only do this to entertainers and it needs to stop.

  3. If he is watching the game yeah don’t bother him if he is in like to get food I’d ask i have meet a few celebs before when they were in line for food or something and it was no problem with them, but I understand if he was in the middle of watching the game or taking to someone

  4. Dude, I was expecting this to be so much more judging from the headline. Don’t be such a baby it’s not like he called you a name or yelled at you. This story was no where near post worthy, it’s a big let down. Think twice before you post anything again..
