For years now people have been talking about Ronda Rousey possibly working with WWE, and the chatter has been heating up as of late thanks to the fact that Triple H recently had dinner with Rousey.
Everyone has an opinion on Ronda Rousey possibly working with WWE, and Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore recently shared his thoughts on the subject.
TMZ caught up with Enzo at the airport and he pulled the Cruiserweight Title out of his bag. He said that it’s been a while since he’s been to Los Angeles, but he’ll be defending his title over the next few nights against any woman on the Sunset Strip.
The interviewer then mentioned Rousey’s meeting with Triple H, and Enzo said that she’s in for a rude awakening.
“She’s in for a rude awakening dude. I mean MMA is MMA, I’m not hating on MMA whatsoever. I respect what they do so much. You ever been put through a table? Slammed on concrete? It’s a different ball game.”
Despite the fact that Enzo feels Ronda Rousey is in for a rude awakening if she joins WWE, he still thinks that she would do well in the world of professional wrestling.
“I think she’d translate quite well. I don’t think it’s harder than she thinks. I think she respects what we do enough to know that it’s hard.”
