It’s been a while since we’ve seen an Elimination Chamber match take place in a WWE ring, but fear not wrestling fans, as the Elimination Chamber is set to return in 2017. The Talking Stick Resort in Phoenix, Arizona confirmed the news via Facebook when they posted the following:
Now obviously that announcement doesn’t give fans much to go on, but it’s nice to know that we can expect to see an Elimination Chamber match next year.
WWE first introduced the Elimination Chamber match at Survivor Series in 2002, and the inaugural match was won by Shawn Michaels.
The last Elimination Chamber pay-per-view took place in 2015, and it featured two Elimination Chamber matches, one for the Intercontinental Championship, and one for the Tag Team Championship.
