Elias On If Ezekiel Will Be In The 2025 Royal Rumble

For years Elias was consistently featured on WWE programming, and he introduced the world to his brother Ezekiel in 2022. Throughout Ezekiel’s run with WWE he continuously claimed that he was the brother of Elias, not Elias himself, despite the striking resemblance to the former Slammy Award winner.

Ezekiel was written off TV in August of 2022 after he was attacked by Kevin Owens, and Elias was released from WWE a year later. Following his WWE release Elias has been using the name Elijah and he recently shared an update on Ezekiel’s status during a virtual signing with K&S WrestleFest.

“Zeke got involved in the mix for a little while. It was great to see him live out his dream. It was a little bit short-lived. I thought he had a great career ahead of himself. Kevin Owens took care of him, that’s for sure. He’s hanging out in California, working out, staying in shape. He’s rehabbing. He’s still recovering, still on the road back. Maybe one day he makes a comeback. Long recovery. Back injuries are no joke,”

When asked whether Ezekiel could appear in the Royal Rumble, Elijah said, “I can’t speak on his behalf, but he’s recovering well. He’s getting primed for a comeback.”
