WWE Monday Night Raw aired live from the Bok Center in Tulsa, OK and the Money in the Bank qualifying matches continued. Stephanie Vaquer earned the right to go on to Money in the Bank earlier in the night, and CM Punk, AJ Styles and El Grande Americano faced off in another Money in the Bank qualifying match in the main event.
Before the match kicked off CM Punk insisted that the referee check El Grande Americano’s mask for the metal plate that he often uses. Later on in the match Punk tried to rip El Grande Americano’s mask off, but he was unsuccessful.
Near the end of the match El Grande Americano went for a moonsault on CM Punk, but Punk rolled out of the way. Punk then connected with the GTS on El Grande Americano, but Bron Breakker appeared and pulled Punk out as he was going for the pin.
Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed attacked Punk as Jey Uso and Sami Zayn ran out to make the save. The Phenomenal One then went for the Phenomenal Forearm on El Grande Americano inside the ring, but El Grande Americano countered with a headbutt to win the match.
After the match CM Punk attacked Bron Breakker then Seth Rollins ran out to brawl with Punk. Bron Breakker ended up hitting CM Punk with the spear. Sami Zayn tried to make the save, but Breakker, Reed and Rollins overpowered him. Seth Rollins hit the stomp on both Zayn and CM Punk. Jey Uso got in the ring then Rollins took him out with stomp. Bronson Reed followed up with two tsunamis on Jey Uso as Raw went off the air.
Money in the Bank will air live on Saturday, June 7th and the current card can be seen below.
