For weeks now AJ Styles and Edge have been building up to their big WrestleMania match, and they finally clashed on Sunday night. Edge and Styles pulled out all the stops in a highly competitive match, but it was Edge who got the victory.
The finish came when AJ Styles was getting ready to hit the phenomenal forearm, but he paused to look at Damian Priest who was suddenly standing at ringside. Styles then collected himself and jumped off the top rope into the ring, but Edge caught him with a spear in the air for the win.
After the match Damian Priest stared at Edge as he got in the ring then they both smiled at each other and celebrated before leaving together. It was recently reported that the idea of giving Edge a new stable was pitched with Damian Priest as one of the members, so it will be interesting to see where this goes from here.
