Last week on Monday Night Raw, Damian Priest & Finn Balor defended the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso in the main event. Balor & Priest ended up retaining the titles after Drew McIntyre interfered and hit Jey Uso with a Claymore. After the match Drew walked up the ramp and shook hands with Rhea Ripley of The Judgment Day.
This week Drew McIntyre kicked off Raw to heavy boos from the crowd. Drew explained that he did what he did because he never forgot about how The Bloodline cost him the title at Clash at the Castle. He said that he prevented Jey Uso from winning the tag team titles because Jey and his family stopped him from winning a big title match in front of his own family when he challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Drew McIntyre clarified that he has not joined The Judgment Day. However, he said he will be joining them for War Games because Rhea Ripley gave him something no one else could, Jey Uso in a cage.
Jey Uso then came out and told Drew to let it go. He threatened to beat Drew down, but The Judgment Day arrived to back Drew up. Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn & Cody Rhodes then came out to back Jey up. It looked like the two teams were about to collide, but Adam Pearce broke it up then called out security. He said that whoever throws the first punch will cost their team the advantage at War Games.
Adam Pearce said that the babyfaces need to pick a fourth team member by the end of the night. Pearce said he needs to know by nine o clock he needs to know which members will face off one on one to decide the advantage. It was later revealed that Drew McIntyre will wrestle on behalf of The Judgment Day and that he will be facing Jey Uso.
Stay tuned for updates.
