Over the last few years Drew McIntyre has solidified himself as one of WWE’s top stars, and he has his sights set on Roman Reigns. McIntyre is focused on winning the gold once again as he waits for his title shot at Clash at the Castle.

The former WrestleMania main eventer still has a few months to go before he gets to take on The Tribal Chief, but during a recent interview with Sports Illustrated he revealed some advice The Undertaker gave him that’s sure to help him on his quest for gold.

“As Undertaker once told me, ‘Don’t play the wrestler. Be the wrestler.’ At the time, ’Taker was my mentor, a role assigned by Vince [McMahon], and I had no idea what he was talking about. I was a wrestler, obviously, right? Now, almost 15 years later, I have a much different appreciation for his lessons. I know who I am every time I step out there, and I know what I’m aiming for; and that’s Roman.”

WWE Clash at the Castle will take place at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on Saturday, September 3. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
