As each year goes by it becomes more and more clear that WWE really doesn’t have any idea what they’re doing with Dolph Ziggler. After Dolph won the United States Championship at Clash of Champions, he vacated it on the following episode of SmackDown Live, and it looked like he was being set up for a big storyline, but that wasn’t the case.
Ziggler later made his surprise return at the Royal Rumble when he entered the match at number 30, but he has yet to appear on SmackDown Live. Dolph will be appearing on the show next week, but if you’re hoping for answers in regards to why he left, you might be disappointed.
It’s been confirmed that Ziggler will be wrestling Baron Corbin next week, and Shane McMahon recently announced that the winner will be added to the WWE Championship match at Fastlane.
Since WWE hasn’t dedicated much time to following up on this storyline, Dolph Ziggler is seemingly trying to fill in the blanks. It looks like Dolph is trying to claim his demands weren’t being met, but he hinted on Twitter that Shane McMahon has been in talks with his agent, or something?
Ahh, I see my agent finally returned your calls. He tells me you agree to the wrestlemania implications, in my rider…
We’ll let you know.
Here Comes The Money, indeed

You know what they say, “When WWE drops your storyline, just make stuff up on Twitter.” They do say that right?
