Cody Rhodes made his big return to the ring earlier this year during the men’s Royal Rumble match, and he punched his ticket to WrestleMania when he managed to win the Royal Rumble. The American Nightmare has had an interesting year since then as he’s been featured as one of the top stars in WWE.
Rhodes has been a mainstay on WWE programming for some time now and he’s also been actively competing at WWE live events. However, Cody was off WWE’s recent weekend live events.
Fightful Select reports that Cody Rhodes wasn’t featured on WWE live events over the weekend because he was taking time off to attend the opening of Brandi Rhodes’ yoga studio in Atlanta.
Cody Rhodes did appear on Monday Night Raw this week and things got heated when he came face to face with Damian Priest of The Judgment Day. During the show it was officially announced that Cody Rhodes will be facing Damian Priest at WWE Crown Jewel next month. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
