Damian Priest has been one of WWE’s stars to watch in 2021, and he was featured in one of the most high profile matches at WrestleMania 37 in April when he teamed with Bad Bunny to face The Miz and John Morrison on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
However, fans haven’t seen Damian Priest make an appearance on WWE programming in weeks, and Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Priest is currently dealing with a back injury.
It was also noted that Damien Priest had a bad back at WrestleMania 37, but he worked the match anyway. There’s currently no word on the severity of the injury, or how long Priest is expected to be out of action.
Following WrestleMania 37, Damian Priest continued to compete on Raw, and he faced The Miz in a Zombie Lumberjack match at the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view. The former NXT North American Champion last competed on Raw in May.
