Edge shocked the world when he returned to the ring at the Royal Rumble back in January, and he wrestled his first singles match in nine years when he defeated Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania 36.

After WrestleMania 36 a WWE 24 special aired on WWE Network, and Edge admitted that he was approached by AEW, but that he told them he had to go talk to Vince McMahon because Vince had done right by him.

Dave Meltzer recently noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Edge signed a 3 year deal with WWE worth $3 million per year for limited dates.

It was also reported that while AEW wanted to sign Edge their offer was nowhere near what WWE offered him.

There’s currently no word on Edge’s next feud or when he might be returning to WWE TV.
