The Bloodline storyline has been one of the most talked about stories in wrestling for months, and things took a drastic turn at the Royal Rumble on Saturday night. Roman Reigns successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens in the main event, but what happened after turned some heads.

Sami Zayn ended up hitting Roman Reigns in the back with a steel chair after Zayn refused to hit Owens. The Bloodline then responded by beating Sami down as Jey Uso walked out.

Fightful Select reports that it was a “curtain sellout” for many who were watching the drama unfold with Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and The Bloodline. It’s being said that wrestlers and staff crowded around the monitors in silence as they watched the storyline play out.

One way or another it will be interesting to see where things go from here as Sami Zayn’s affiliation with The Bloodline seems to be done, and Jey Uso has also teased that he’s finished with the group.

WWE has yet to confirm the match, but it’s expected that Sami Zayn will be facing Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber premium live event next month. Stay tuned for updates.
